Attendance and lateness

Attendance tracking: who is in, since when, and for how many hours

Every punch becomes usable data: arrival time, departure time, time on site, gap with the planned hours. Lateness and time beyond the shift stand out on their own.

Day to day

What you track every day

Ins and outs

Every punch is time-stamped and linked to the employee, whatever its source.

Time on site

The actual presence for each day, breaks deducted.

Lateness

Arrivals after the planned time, day by day, with the monthly summary.

Time beyond the shift

Overruns spotted as they happen.

Anomalies

A day without an out or an in punch is flagged for review.

By department and site

A consolidated view of a team, a department or a whole site.

Your rules

A working day counted your way

Not every company counts a working day the same way. EASY-STAFF calculates hours, lateness and overruns according to the working hours and rules you agree with us during set-up.

  • Night shifts are counted on the right day
  • Public holidays and Ramadan hours are taken into account
  • Actual time is compared with the shift plan when there is one
  • Each day can display how it was calculated, to answer a dispute

Missed punches

A missed punch gets fixed, and stays on record

An employee forgets to clock out: their day is flagged as an anomaly. An authorised manager adds the missing punch and marks it as entered after a missed punch. These punches can be filtered, exported and counted month by month on the dashboard, so repeated misses stand out without digging through reports.

Overtime

Overtime, counted for payroll

In Morocco, the legal working time is 44 hours a week in non-agricultural activities, i.e. 2,288 hours a year (article 184 of the Labour Code). Hours worked beyond that carry a premium depending on when they are worked (article 201):

Overtime premiums, non-agricultural activities (article 201)
When the hours are workedNormal dayWeekly rest day
Between 6 am and 9 pm+25%+50%
Between 9 pm and 6 am+50%+100%

EASY-STAFF splits each employee's overtime by rate and passes it on to payroll preparation.

Frequently asked questions

How does the software detect lateness?

By comparing the first punch of the day with the planned time that day: the employee's standard working hours or their shift plan.

What happens when an employee forgets to clock in or out?

The day is flagged as an anomaly. An authorised manager adds the missing punch, marked as entered after a missed punch.

Are night shifts counted correctly?

Yes: a shift that starts in the evening and ends the next morning is counted on the right day.

Can a figure be challenged?

Each day can display how it was calculated: the answer is on screen, not in a file to rebuild.
