Construction time tracking that follows crews from site to site

One site opens, another closes, a crew moves between them during the week. EASY-STAFF sets up a clock-in point for each site without installing any hardware, lets workers clock in on their phone or on an outdoor terminal, and splits their hours by site.

Your constraints

What makes site time tracking hard

On a construction site nothing stays put: not the location, not the crew, sometimes not even the power supply.

Temporary locations

Installing a terminal for a few months of works is not always worth it.

Crews on the move

The same worker may be on two sites in a single day.

A harsh environment

Dust, rain, sun and power cuts put equipment to the test.

With EASY-STAFF

What EASY-STAFF brings to your sites

  • A clock-in point per site, with no hardware to install
  • Clock-in from the phone, with the GPS position for the employees you choose
  • Your sites and their zones drawn on the map, so an odd position stands out
  • Entry by a manager for a whole crew when workers have no phone
  • The report by site, which splits an employee's hours across the sites where they clocked in
  • Mission orders for trips far from the depot

Recommended time clocks

Terminals for site camps and depots

Where a terminal makes sense (site camp, depot, long-running project), choose a model protected against dust and water, or one with a battery.

In practice

Opening a new site in EASY-STAFF

  1. The site is created

The project is added as a site, with its zone drawn on the map.

  2. The crew is assigned

The workers involved clock in there from their phone, or an authorised manager records the crew's punches.

  3. The project ends

Hours spent on site remain available in the report by site.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need a time clock on every site?

No. A clock-in point with no hardware is enough: workers clock in on their phone, in the browser, with no app to download.

What about workers without a smartphone?

An authorised manager can record punches for a group, and those entries stay marked as manual. A barcode scanner is another option.

Can a time clock stay outdoors?

Yes, with a protected model: Hikvision rates both the DS-K1T342MFWX and the DS-K1T344MX-E1 IP65, the latter from -30 °C to 60 °C.

Is the employee tracked during the day?

No. The position is read when they clock in, never continuously.

Can we see the software before deciding?

Yes: we run a demo on your own hours, sites and special cases. Request it here.
