Security guards at a client's site, cleaning teams, field technicians, sales reps on the road: where there is no time clock, employees clock in themselves and their manager sees the position on a map.
How it works
A “Clock me in” button, from the phone
The employee opens their EASY-STAFF space on their phone and taps “Clock me in”. The time is recorded like any other punch, and the phone's GPS position is attached when you require it for that employee. There is no app to download: the space opens in the phone's browser.

Read at the moment of the punch, if you require it for them.
The manager checks
The punch appears in the day's list and on the map, with an approximate address.

Most companies use both: a biometric time clock on fixed sites, mobile clock-in for staff who never pass by one.
Privacy
A position read at clock-in, not continuous tracking
The position is not tracked during the day: it is read when the employee clocks in, to be attached to that punch, and nothing else. The employees concerned must be informed, and the purpose (proving presence at a work location) must be defined.
Frequently asked questions
Do employees need to install an app?
No. They clock in from their EASY-STAFF space, opened in their phone's browser. An Android app is in development and coming soon.
Is the employee's position tracked all day?
No. It is read at the moment of the punch, to be attached to that punch.
Is a punch made far from the site refused?
No: the position is recorded and shown on the map, but it does not block the punch. The manager reviews it.
What if the employee refuses location access?
If the position is required for them, their punch is not accepted without it.
Can time clocks and phones be combined?
Yes: punches from terminals and from phones land in the same list and go through the same calculations.
